I know that it's summer and today, in fact, it actually feels like it. Unlike the lovely autumn weather I've been surveying in this week. But summer aside, growth is sometimes a little slower in the great North, so we've been enjoying spring deliciousness along with our first summer crops and a bounty from our CSA box:

First garden harvest: Radishes! We like 'em roasted!

Fresh strawberries! (both from our yard and our box!)
And I just found this strawberry recipe over at Foothill Home Companion

Beautiful rhubarb crisp! No photos - eaten too quickly...

Hope you're all enjoying the farmer's markets and good weather. What's tickling your taste buds of late?

  1. leek frittata sounds delicious. enjoy the strawberry drinks! i've got a new batch of strawberry rum brewing :)

  2. Thanks Molly! I thoroughly enjoy stopping by your blog, glad you checked out ours!
